Spring Giving Opportunities

March 30 – May 31, 2025

Our Spring Giving is an opportunity for Villagers to give towards ministry needs outside of normal operational expenses in the annual church budget. This year we are focused on our key ministry goals of being intergenerational and missional.

As you pray and desire to give to these opportunities, please give above and beyond your normal giving to the Ministry Offering which pays for our staff, missionaries, building loan, and ministry expenses. Note that you can give to one or more of these opportunities. If we exceed our giving goal for any particular project, the extra money will be used for the underfunded project.

If you are able to give financially, please write the name of the chosen fund on the memo line of your check or select the appropriate fund through Pushpay (online giving). For gifts of stock, IRA contributions, or other creative gifts, talk to your tax advisor about your specific situation and, if you’d like to give in this way, contact Patty Deiser, Village Finance Manager, at patty@villagebeaverton.com.

Campus Restoration: $93,000

We estimate that 2,500+ people are blessed by our campus each week. Alongside Sundays, our ministries and partner organizations utilize our campus on Saturdays and every weekday, 14 hours a day.

This funding would address urgent upgrades like replacing rotten siding on buildings, resurfacing two high-use parking lots, and replacing old trees with drought-resistant and non-invasive root systems trees to prevent further damage to sidewalks and parking lots.

All generations, including many people who are not yet Christians, will directly benefit from these projects.

Missions Contingency Fund: $30,000

As we build on our strong foundations of global outreach over the past decades, we discover opportunities almost weekly to partner with trusted missionaries around the world. Whether for missionary care and exploratory visits to current missionaries this year or for unexpected appeals from our own and prospective missionaries, consider giving to this opportunity so we’re poised to follow the Spirit’s lead for the rest of 2025.

South Village Roof: $48,000

The classrooms in the building formerly called “Children’s Village” have literally seen thousands upon thousands of lives changed by Jesus since it was built around 1980. Today, examples of ministry in this space include DNA Groups, youth ministry small groups, our kids ministry, two city-wide Bible studies, and a partner preschool. The roof of this well-loved building is at the end of its life. Any gifts will “pay it forward” with a new roof warrantied for 50 years, impacting the future ministry to all ages stepping into these classrooms.
